Description
Hawks have to trade money...sorry to trade Daley but receive 2 functional Dman especially if TVR & Pokke can't handle workload immediately
Sorry to trade Shaw and Garbett, but Hawks have youngsters to fill forward positions. Not a good deal player wise for Hawks, but a cap trade.
Kruger signed also with saved money.

I saw the title and assumed the deal involves Patrick Kane. I am surprised.

How does trading Garbutt help with the cap? Rather Shaw and Versteeg.

Mr Lari, good morning. Garbutt and Colaiacovo have the same cap hit, Thought the Hawks may need more help with an additional defenceman till they know how TVR and Pokke do. Shaw was traded to Buffalo. Had to add trade another salary, bigger than Vesteegs to sign Kruger, therefore reluctantly, Daley had to go. Two 3rd picks to Chicago still might be in the 65 to 70 range.
