Allen isn't getting a 1. TB doesn't have the cap if Montreal gets offered a 3 they should take it he really isn't that big an upgrade over Elliot anyway. TB won 12 straight games with Louie Domigue in net .

Not saying Allen is worth a first. But considering he's got okay numbers, signed to a couple more seasons at a reasonable price and the first would be anywhere from 28 to 32(likely), it's not a big loss for Tampa. Blues giving up a 23 year old point per game player for two depth guys where they don't need them makes it a giant loss for the Blues.

TB isn't spending almost 3mil on a backup goalie they aren't spending 1 mil that's like a solid Rd contract there. We can agree to disagree on the degree of horrible the trades are.

I'm not saying Tampa would. The discussion was on the degree of horrible value. What would have the biggest net negative for either team. Clearly, Blues get the bigger shaft

I completely disagree. Tampa Bay got a record at the time of 12 wins in a row with Louie Domigue only Marc Bergevin is dumb enough to spend 2.8;mil to back up a9.5 mil goalie it would collosally screw TB cap
