Sabres 17-18 (4/8/17)

Created by: finchj15
Team: 2017-18 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 8, 2017
Published: Apr. 8, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Sam Reinhart has it right. This team could improve, but it may be hard to right the ship for next season. This is because of contracts they need to get rid off, lack of quality FA's, and lack of top prospects. Sabres have lots of 3rd line/4th line forward prospects. The team will be better, but not quite good enough.

According to Sabres GM Tim Murray, Vegas GM McPhee owes him a favor from something that happened in the past. Taking Bogo is the favor. GMTM makes it a little more enticing too.

True, but I could also see vegas taking Bogo in this because of the pick, he has some upside, and they need to add some salary to reach cap floor. Could be a decent deal for both teams. It really depends on who else Vegas can get.
