Dickinson is a bottom 6 player the pick means nothing, and the prospect isn't very good.

They have no need for anything there. They aren't going to send you a guy with top 6 potential for it.

I usually see Pens fans do Dickinson and a 2nd. I left Dickinson but instead of a 2nd I put in a 3rd and DiPietro which I thought might even be better than a 2nd

Their problems are fixing the 2nd line winger.
He can't play that role, hence there is no way they do this.
They sure won't trade a guy who has the potential to fill that role for someone who doesn't.
As the prospect is a nothing and the draft pick isn't helping them currently.
If they were to move Kap for picks, not saying they couldn't do that, but if they were too, it would be to open up his full cap space for a replacement.
