Seems like a lot for what could end up just being Brandon Hagel for another two years. If I’m the Leafs, I buy high without mortgaging the future.

It doesn’t make sense for Chicago to trade Hagel tbh he’s only 23 and on a great deal a

It is a lot to give up but it addresses all the needs the leafs have this year plus you have Murphy and Hagel long term on good deals. You have to give something to get something. And this would really kickstart Chicago's rebuild
