Description

STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN PEOPLE WE DON'T NEED HIM. Yes he would make our team better but he would also ruin the chemistry we have going on. Why would we do that? We wouldn't. We have 800k in cap space. WAY to much cap would have to go back. Quit trying its not going to happen.
Where would he slot in? 3rd pairing most likely to not ruin Chemistry in the top 4. Imagine bringing back a captain to give him the least amount of minutes in a game. That would sting for Giordano. Only way he is in this organization again IMO is a 1 day contract with the team that gave him a chance all those years ago, and was always loyal to him to retire. MAYBE if he signs a cheap deal he can come back as a depth peice but probably won't be in the top 4 with the chemistry they have

If you played wouldn't you rather be on the bottom pairing of a Cup contending team, or play 25 minutes a night on a basement dweller?

Plus; even at his age, he is an improvement over Zadorov, so if Seattle would take him, and retain some salary why not?

Just a Canucks fan chiming in.While im still all in on Canucks making the playoffs im smart enough to know were not getting far this year.The Flames are Canadas best hope of bringing the cup home.As an outsider looking in i think you are bang on, and put it perfectly, i agree all you guys need is a bit more depth for the playoffs.You already play a playoff style and are gonna be very hard to beat in any series.Why break up the chemistry.For the sake of bringing the cup home to Canada.GO FLAMES GO.

I love Zadorov's size and the chemistry with Gudbranson, but he is a give-away machine and if Gio is an improvement, as you say, why not pull the trigger?
