Description
Some more thoughts for the Bruins as trades have started to go down and the deadline is coming up.

The asking price for Middleton is reportedly a second rounder and a prospect. There you go.

The Bruins have to get rid of Debrusk, no sense in keeping him when you can package him for something else. In this case, send him to Anaheim with Senyshyn and a third rounder. Anaheim gets a solid return for Rakell who could leave in free agency after the season. Might as well ship him off for some assets rather than losing him for nothing. Same thing with Debrusk and the Bruins.

If the Bruins get Chychrun then I would imagine that either Reilly or Forbort would get moved. Therefore, Reilly would get moved based upon his struggles this year. I think he could become a great piece to a fast paced Kings team, seeing as he is a puck moving defenseman.

Now, the deal that nobody is going to agree with. The Chychrun deal. Apparently the Bruins and Kings seem to be the front runners for acquiring him. With that being said, the Bruins can get their LD and Arizona gets some prospects, a young LD, and a couple of early draft picks.

Just because the reported asking price for a 26 year old who has played exactly 56 games in the NHL is a second and a prospect you just hand it over? Studnicka is 3 years younger and when all is said and done he will be a better player than Middleton. You gave up way too much for a player who would be redundant in Boston.

Studnicka is not very good, but keep overrating him because Bostons pool is league worst

Agreed, Boston has a poor prospect pool, just not the leagues worst. Trading a 2nd for a third pairing LD when we literally have a multitude of third pairing LD is not going to allow Boston to make that prospect pool better anytime soon. Here's hoping Studnicka is a late bloomer much like Middleton.
