Leafs upgrade Holl with Mayfield, and get their goalie who both have another year left. Chara for depth this year. They can offload Mrazek somewhere, and now have a good bit of extra cap to acquire a forward to replace Nylander (Miller/Boeser/Garland).

Mayfield on his own with how the Hagel trade went down can probably fetch a 1st+. RHD, with another year at a cheap cap hit that is big and can play top 4 minutes. Varly is a good starter, who can also fetch a good bit. Holl and Dermott are extras at this point for TOR, so basically it's Nylander for Varly, Mayfield, Chara and some cap space.

Dubas isn't moving Nylander, And i'd be shocked if Varlamo waives to Toronto. Mayfield is fine but i doubt Dubas has any interest in Chara

this is exactly the kind of counter offer I could see Lou giving Dubas after whatever proposal is initially made for just Chara LOL Kyle's definitely not breaking up the top 4 though. He's definitely still putting his faith in them for at least this years playoffs, if they bust this year too with dumb performances from any of the top 4, I could see any of which who performed poorly all shipped out in the summer for sure
