TBH since you went and got Lundkvist in this thread you can probably move Petry and have a top 4 of Romy-Myers Eddy-Lundkvist

I have seen a lot of NYR AGM going this route, you don’t have interest in Kulak or are not okay with the value?

I feel like NYR has a great team this year and could use the depth kinda like the Vatrano trade but with a dman, but I am no expert.

Every team can use more depth, but the Rangers have Nemeth, Jones and Tinordi already for the 3rd pair LD, so unless there a clear upgrade to those 3, there is no reason to add anyone. I don't think Kulak is an upgrade. My opinion anyway.

You rather play Nemeth and Tinordi over Kulak?
Jones I really like but would like a guy with a bit more experience as insurance.

If I were coaching, I would play Jones with Schneider and have Nemeth and Tinordi as 7th and 8th D. Kulak would just join them in the press box, so why trade for him? Gallant likes Nemeth, so that's who is going to play with Schneider if they trade for Kulak or not, so again, why trade for him?

I get your point that you would need to send a dman like Nemeth or Tinordi back in the deal, that wasn’t my question.
I am sorry maybe my question wasn’t clear, you said you don’t see Kulak as an upgrade on Nemeth or Tinordi which I thought was suprising. If Kulak was already a Rangers you would prefer to play Nemeth and Tinordi over him?

I juste really don’t like the idea of needing Nemeth or Tinordi as a regular..

I mention Tinordi because he is on the team, but his role is a bit different as more of a physical presence and enforcer if needed. Nemeth is a better defenseman than Tinordi and I don't see Kulak as an upgrade to Nemeth. Nemeth hasn't had a great year so far, but he has been a solid 3rd paid D for his career and on the same level as Kulak IMO. If you want to trade Nemeth for Kulak, that would be fine. But to add Kulak to what they already have doesn't make sense to me. And that was the original trade you posted and I replied no thanks.

Yeah I understood that, but that wasn’t my question lol
I think there is a communication issue on my side english is not my first language.

I am surprised someone thinks Nemeth is as good as Kulak.

      Thanks for your input!

I changed the destination on the Kulak trade so no hard feelings!

There are no hard feelings. Everyone has an opinion and ours are different, that's life.
