Too much for radulov, Beaulieu is worth more, this team is worse because you haven't done anything to improve it.

Scherbak will most likely not be a 2nd liner next season, probably won't even be an NHL'r.

Totally disagree with Captain Flynnt. If you want to re-sign Radulov, that's the price you'll have to pay to keep him off the market.

If I were a Habs fan, I'd want a much longer contract for Galchenyuk, even if it costs a bit more. And maybe time to move on from Markov, but the market could be weak this year.

The problem on this team, ultimately, is the Weber deal. There was an article today on TSN that said that the Rangers-MTL series is a referendum on the trade. Well, there you go. Ages 32-40, $8 million cap hit. And he's rugged, so he'll age faster than somebody like Duncan Keith.

Weber is not a problem at all. Look at his actual salary. Ages 36, 37 he is only paid $3 mil, 38, 39, and 40 he is paid $1 mil. If he declines ship him to Arizona where all the high cap hit low salary contracts go.. he was a beast all series for montreal and had 3 goal posts plus Lundqvist made some big saves on him. Lundqvist was the difference in the series, outplayed price in 5 of the 6 games.

It's not time to move on from markov? He is there best defenseman after weber.

I don't disagree radulov could fetch that contract from somebody but the habs aren't doing themselves a favour by giving him that kind of money. If it comes down to that let him walk he is not a $7.2 million player and I'd say he's more likely to decline than weber, who plays a very structured game and will always have a cannon of a shot. Radulov generates almost all of his offense from his strength on the puck and as he gets older he will suffer from that loss of strenght more than weber.
