Description

If I had a choice for 2 "FREE AGENTS" to bring in having a large abundance of cap-space.
Forward: Patrice Bergeron (2yr 10M).. Boston only has 4m cap left & COULD NOT match.
Right Defence: Josh Manson (4yr 5.5M) Good Defensive RD to play with Power.

So many times I've seen Sabres fans say we should take another player like Boychuk to make sure we go over cap!!! WHY SPEND THAT when we could overpay a strong leader like Bergeron to help some of the younger players learn. Then when their raises come in a few years Bergeron will be retiring.

Bergy has made 93 million career. He doesn't need a cashout contract, unfortunately. I think he stays in Boston

Bc Bergeron is NOT coming here
He’s got plenty of $$$
And Boston will ship a guy or 2 out if they have to so that they can sign him

And if not, there will be PLENTY of better teams that will line up to sign him
Just can’t see any way he’d come to the Sabres dude
Nice thought, but it’s just not happening
