Description

Kept most of the roster as is.

Overpaid for Copp because 1) they need to spend 2) he’s a solid addition that can plug and play at center or either wing on any line. With a young group like Buffalo has, he’s a nice Swiss Army knife.

Traded for Samsonov as I believe Washington will go in a different direction and I believe they’ll prefer to keep Vanacek.

Dahlin moving to the right side allows the team to bring in a depth veteran on the right.

Also, unsure if Johnson will sign or not is another reason I added another defenseman.

I’ve seen an AGM put together by a Washington fan trading Samsonov to Buffalo for as little as a third round pick. Why give up Laaksonen if you don’t have to? I would sooner trade Johnson than Laaksonen. I would definitely sign Copp even at that price, but I still love the idea of replacing Cody Eakin with Lars Eller if you can find a way to get him included in the Washington trade.

I love this ACGM for BUF fans, so much youth!

That's why I think you could do better with a couple GOOD veterans in the lineup. Copp is a good start but 1 or 2 more on off. or def. wouldn't hurt imo.
