Description
Elliotte Friedman in his most recent "30 thoughts" said it'll be interesting to see what direction the new GM decides to go at goal this offseason. With Lehner being "Murrays guy" and a RFA, I guess there could be a chance of change. While I would highly disagree with Lehner not coming back, it's definitely something to examine

ARI- Arizona keeps getting younger and acquires their goaltender of the present and future. Robin Lehner is just getting close to entering his prime and just posted solid numbers in his first full year with Buffalo. They also get another young top-9 center in Girgensons who can do it all but just needs to work on offensive side of the game. Buffalo in return gets veteran Mike Smith to man the pipes while Ullmark learns the NHL game behind him. Has posted solid numbers in his career. Buffalo also gets sniper Duclair to play with Reino who took a step back in development this last season. Also a nice pick for Buffalo

LAK- The Kings need scoring desperately and get it here with Evander Kane. They trade from a position of strength by moving puck-mover Martinez and a decent prospect in Brodzinski

With such a young roster (5 rookies,) Buffalo gets one of the top veteran players off free agency in Justin Williams. The dude will bring a wealth of knowledge to a young lockerroom and be a clutch performer when he is needed.

I would much rather have him too, but I'm just playing around with the idea Elliotte Friedman reported. I'd like this idea as we get a solid veteran and a good prospect as well, will give Ullmark/Peterson a couple years to get ready. It'll be up to our new GM!
