As usual, Stars decline.

We have no huge interest in Petry, especially at this cost.

We'll take him in a cap dump exchange, nothing more than that.

To be fair all trades here are incredibly lopsided in Habs' favor too. Well except the Allen trade.

If I had to guess they trade for Shattenkirk or Walker or something like that. Just some more affordable bottom-4 option.

Secondary scoring is a much bigger issue for us than a lack of a D-man. Heiskanen is perfectly capable of taking more offensive role if Klingberg is gone. We just need someone in the second pair to play with Suter.
