Can't see Nemec dropping to 8.

Id agree w that, my first mock with Jiricek going before him. So much talent in the top 15 anything is possible depending on team needs

You should never draft by team need that high. You go BPA, especially in the Top 10. And Nemec is definitely best player available anywhere below 3.

That's how it works. Teams go BPA that early. Obviously the boards change from team to team. But a team would never not take a guy they have 4-6 spots higher than a player that fills a positional need. Especially since in the NHL you aren't drafting for next season most of the time and a GM doesn't know what the team might look like when the drafted player enters the league. If the two best players available are very close on your board or even tied, then you obviously go by positional need.

Im not saying hes the 8th best player in the draft but its also not accurate that he's definitely the best player after 3..

Zona takes Cooley because they figure its a steal, Philly needs offense and Nazar would be perfect if they cant get Slaf, Devils go for slight riskier but higher all around ceiling RD in Jiricek, Lambert to CBJ for Center help +Jarmo connection, Sens snag Nemec at 8th isnt impossible at all.

Most scouts would disagree. He's BPA at 5 at the very latest.

Philly needs everything not just offence. Nazar isn't projected to go that high and honestly shouldn't. Nemec is ahead of him by quite a bit and not taking him would be a bad decision (as of now).

The Devils should and would probably go for Nemec since he's the better all-round D-man and they have a few primarily offensive ones already (Hughes, Smith and right now also Hamilton).

Lambert is a huge risk that high and if Nemec is there, Jarmo doesn't care about a connection, he goes BPA. He could even get Lambert with 12OA.

Never

You lost me there guy Nazar is going to be better than Cooley, Philly doesnt need defense at all, Nemec sure isnt better all around and youre confusing a mock draft for draft rankings, show me a single draft year where the BPA is taken in order like seriously. Prospects rise and fall all the time
