I like Holtz a lot but I almost wonder if we'd prefer your first. This series with the Blues is exposing our center depth and while Rossi looks very promising, he's pretty much it for our center prospects. We have some very talented wingers on the team already with Kaprizov, Zuccarello, and Boldy. That pick could help solve the problem we've had since we became a franchise: lack of a true #1 center.

I think Holtz + Zacha for Fiala makes a lot of sense.. Wild get a center for next season, as well as Holtz on an ELC for the 3 years that the Parise/Suter buyouts are extreme on the cap.

Wonder how Trotz would coach this team. Could go really poorly if he tries to coach like he did in NYI or NSH

Not a fan of us acquiring Zacha in the slightest, personally. He's more of the same for this franchise: fine middle 6 player but not a top line player. We already have Hartman (who had a good season, but I don't think he'll produce at the same level next year) and Gaudreau to fill that role, and JEE is perfect in the role he is playing on the GREEF line. Jost should anchor our 4th line. With Rossi likely slotting into our top 6 next year, Zacha would just be an expensive 4th line winger for us.
