I think both teams would refuse. NJ like Hughes, and MTL would rather add Wright and another top prospect. And the draft is in MTL, they can't give their 2 first round picks.

I admire the idea, but Hughes as close to untouchable as you can get. Unless the Devils a superstar Center in return, Hughes is not going to be traded

Yeah, Jack had an insane season this year. Elite fancies, top tier production, huge minutes, and he's only 20. I get the concept here but The Devils aren't trading a sure thing franchise center for two maybes.

New Jersey passes, They already have Jack and Luke and will probably have Quinn as well in 5-6 years or so.
