I'm sure the Sabres could get him to come to Buffalo on a one year deal for 900k??? A one year overpay for a defenseman who will lead the young guys when you have 25 million in space is what theyre going to have to do.

Wild would just keep Fiala at that point - they are likely to be able to free up ~$7.5 or a hair higher comfortably to keep him.
