    I dont think you should bring in another veteran D-man when you have Zboril, Lazoun, Grzelcyk, and Lindgreen.

    It was a 1 year deal.....I don't see Zboril/Lauzon being ready. Lindgren isn't even signed and is still in college so he's not an option, and Grzelcyk, though he had a great first year at the AHL level, could use a little more time (to start) at the AHL level to continue to learn the pro game.

    Lol, I'm sure there are a few chomping at the bit to rip me to shreds. But honestly do you think I'm wrong? You think NJ would trade a top 6 pairing center in his prime with a reasonable cap hit for a couple of more years for a bottom 6 FW with an iffy contract, a prospect with minimal upside, and a mistake prone DMan with a big shot. Pretty sure if they put him on the market they could get a better return than that. You know that. You are one of a handful on here that actually know their stuff.
