Not at all. He’s one of the best top 6 play drivers in the league and he’s not even his prime yet. Going after a young, undervalued player like Puljujarvi and signing him to a contract that will look great within a year is what the isles should be doing.

It’s also what the Avs did when they traded for Toews. 90% of isles fans called him a 3rd pair caliber D and Sakic knew he put up elite underlying numbers on the isles and would thrive in a top pair role

Pulju would be much better than Eberle ever was, too. Like I think he would be a great fit. Big forward with a shot. Exactly what we need on Barzal's wing. Then add Wahly's shot and the line is lethal
