Stars lineup with only resignings

Created by: DeadGuy63

Description
This is how I have the line up with no free agents and just resigning guys. This does not take into account any prospects making the jump. This is just who I see getting resigned and what I think the cap hits would be. I want them to get someone on the right side of the blue line that could play with Harley on the 2nd pair and then have a 3rd pair of Sutter and Hakanpää. I'm not against moving on from Gurianov. I know it may be hard to believe but I think they could also use someone to help out up front that can finish. It would also be nice to know what the plan is with Dobby. I'd love it if he could make a comeback and back up otter but if not he needs to join bish on whatever island he is on with the ghost of methot and hanzal.

I think Robertson will demand a lot more.

He has been amazing but he is only going into his 3rd year. I looked at the comparable contracts to his production and age. They averaged around 6.7m but they all had more years under them. I think it is between 6 and 6.5. Not sure about the term though.

Even on a 4-year deal, he's making more than you have him making here. If you're giving him an 8-year deal, he's making $8M+ per year. If you're giving him a 3-4 year deal prior to his 8-year contract, he's still going to see high-$6M to low $7M per year. He won't see much less money on a shorter deal. He's been too good for Dallas
