Please note: this is predicated on Smith either choosing to retire or being injured and on LTIR and on Ullmark waiving his NMC. If both happen before next season, I see the Boston deal as a hockey trade, Ullmark and a mid-pick for two bigger wingers, keeping the cap and contracts fairly neutral. I could see Edmonton entertaining swapping Yamamoto for one of the two wingers, if that was more amenable, but I would expect that it would change the pick coming back to Edmonton.

Basically, this is the same team they're running now, with upgrades in net Ullmark/Skinner over Smith/Koskinen, downgrade with Broberg in for Kulak, Holloway for Foegele, Kuzmenko for Puljujarvi, and other young players replacing the black aces. Skinner, Broberg, and Holloway look good to make the jump, dunno about Kuzmenko, but it's a one year deal which ends with him as a UFA.
