Description

An idea for the Fiala trade. I would love to see the Wild get an NHL ready player on a cost controlled deal for the next three years. Holtz has Fiala upside. I would love to see the Wild get a 1st as well but figured 2OA was not in play at this point. So here would be hoping that NJ is not good next year. Per usual roast away

Goodness that's a MASSIVE overpay for Fiala. No way NJ does that. Guerin has zero leverage so teams will just wait them out. Or just let OTT overpay I guess lol

I think you'll get Holtz or a first, but likely not both. If Holtz, you'll have to settle for a lesser pick. For this deal to go forward, Minny would need to add and Jersey would likely want a Top 10 protection on this, at minimum.
