Most teams could build a super team if they could just disappear $25M in cap with a snap of their fingers, too. Who's trading for those guys, because I can't see the Coyotes taking on *every* bad contract in Montreal - and I could easily see some of the assets you're including here being sacrificed if you want all those guys gone by opening night 2023.

Dvorak = good contract
Drouin = 1 year left then off the books
Hoffman = bad contract but only 2 years left
Allen = good contract
Edmunson = good contract
Armia = potential buyout or traded w retention

won't be too hard to shed that money over the next 2 years brotha

Yeah good luck believing that Nazar is there at 16th, Detroit takes him at 8th unless Matthew Savoie falls. And even then he's still not falling to 16 oa.

caufield fell to 15. Small players tend to drop, but I'm with you, Nazar at 16th is a steal.

Maybe Yzerman takes Brad Lambert. He’s close with his uncle Lane. Wouldn’t be my pick but it could be a possibility.

Hoffman is the only guy I’d want gone. Armia is a decent player, kind of like Clutterbuck.

The kid is going to be the real deal, he might be the 3rd best Centerman in the draft. After Shane Wright and Logan Cooley.

Yzerman will have tons of options if he so desires.

1 Matthew Savoie 50/50 he's there at #8
2 Brad Lambert.
3 Jonathan Lekkerimaki
4 Frank Nazar
5 Conor Geekie
6 Marco Kasper.

I can see anyone of those guys as options for Yzerman.

Savoie reminds me of Barzal but he’s smaller. I would be willing to move up in the draft to get him if I was running the Isles.
