    Seattle passes.

Take more than a 3rd round pick to move Zack Kassian.

Both Kane and Namestnikov get more money than that. You're at least $2,000,000 under Kane and $1,000,000 under Namestnikov.

All indications are that he's looking for a major payday. At least that was posted over on HockeyFutures anyways.

Gru was flat out awful this yr, sea may need more given the 1.9 in dead cap per yr over a half decade
SEA will want more than a 3rd to add kassian's contract on the books

I think kane is going to be on a string of 1x5 deals.

Agreed, Can't see any GM giving him term. If he gets $5,000,000 x 1 year he should consider himself lucky. he could easily be out of the league.

I'm going to address the deals with SEA as though they're one. I don't think either team can do it. To take on Kassian AND pay Grubauer almost 10 million to play for a division rival for the next 5 seasons, Seattle would need higher draft choices and/or better prospects. Holloway or Broberg, 2nds or a 1st rounder. And Edmonton shouldn't do that! . . . Especially given what they might be getting from Grubauer. (yikes this season!)

    That’s fair
I thought it was an outside the box goalie option for them atm

I hear ya. It's funny, I thought Edmonton might have been one of the top landing spots for Grubauer as a UFA last off-season, then Seattle surprised us all!

Him and wennberg where a mistake for them imo
If you were gonna get any big name go for subban this off-season

Agree! Actually, all 3 of their big signings were mistakes, IMO. Hate to say it cuz Jaden Schwartz is a heck of a guy and player ( and man has he and his family ever gone through the worst kind of hell ), but given his age, injury history, and declining production over the years, those $$ and term are a tough one.

Subban would be cool, PR wise I think he'd be great . . . so long as term and money reflect what he does on the ice. I think Seattle will go hard after Klingberg, honestly. Seattle will probably offer him what he's looking for and he and Oleksiak were a pairing that worked fairly well in Dallas, I believe.
