Originally I had Clarke in instead of Turcotte but I thought that was too much, then I also figured that the Flyers were going to get one of the RHD in the draft who (hopefully) might be able to make the team out of camp. So I swapped Turcotte in for Clarke and Drafted Jirecek

Turcotte and the 19th overall selection in this year's draft are quite sufficient for Konecny. We've got enough thirds in the next two drafts.

I would be fine with that adjustment in this scenario

By the way, to clarify, I'm well aware that your 2022 third plus any 2023 third is worth more than our 51st overall selection in 2022 by every draft chart I've seen; I just think that we're in the quality-over-quantity phase now. Your evaluation is fine.

I appreciate that! But that definitely makes sense. I am not too well versed in the amount of assets the Kings have but I do believe they could use a player of Konecny's caliber and upside especially after how they played this year.

I did just because last off season cap space was at such a premium I assumed we would have to give up something to get rid of him at 50% no matter where he goes. We could theoretically buy him out as well but I think that would put us just slightly over the cap in this scenario.
