That top-7 could end up being very accurate as I can't see Philly passing on Savoie. And even if they do, I think C-bus would snatch him up. Good pick for DET at No. 8 although they could go Lambert which would put my Sabres in a very interesting situation with Lekerimaki probably being the front-runner.

In looking at it again, that top-14 could very well unfold as laid out, so nice work.

Thank you very much, Detroit is going with a lot of Swedes in recent years that's why I'm putting lekerimaki there. Cutter Gauthier is still really good pick for your Sabres.

You could very well be right on Guathier, and it wouldn't be a bad pick at all. My favorite in that slot, however, is Isaac Howard. I know that it would be a bit of a reach at No. 9 but he won't last much beyond that pick (you had him at 13 which is right around where I believe he'll be drafted) and, imo, won't be there when the Sabres pick at 16.

Am of the belief that picks 7/8 thru 12/13 will be a matter of flavor as many of these prospects look to have similar projections but different qualities. That's why I like Howard. He's a fearless scorer with a quick release who knows where those prime scoring spots are, how to get there covertly and what to do with opportunity. But that's just me.

Yes I like him a lot too and could be very much going top 10 I had further but he is very solid. It's so hard to predict the draft team can surprise you.
