Doubt the Leafs would be looking to move Kase unless its part of bigger idea. He's a highly productive forward, when he is in the lineup, which they can get at a premium price due to injury issues. He plays on both special teams, up and down the lineup, etc, etc, etc. He's a bargain of a player to have on a cap strapped team.

Dream team is right this ain't happening:

Kassian trade template has to be similar to Ritchie to the Yotes. He has more cap hit and Leafs gave up a second but also got Lebushken back so I say the 2nd and nothing back to the Oilers makes sense.

Boston does not need Barrie. I think you look at teams that don't have a PP D. Seattle, Carolina if they lose DeAngelo (cap would be tough for them), Dallas (Cap), jets (cap), islanders (Dobson?), Devil's, Habs, Wild (Cap and only if Dumba leaves)

Foegele for Kase why? What's the motive? Do leafs think Foegele is better because he cap hit is also bigger... I don't think so.

All these and I'm an Oilers fan
