Holy overpay Batman. Copp isn't getting anywhere near that, from any team.

Copp is getting at max $6 million in free agency. Anything more is a severe overpay.

I'm all for extending Copp- but that's a massive overpay.
His CAP hit should be between 5 and 5.75 M, dependent on term. If he gets to the market and the market dictates more than that- they will then explore other options for a 3C in the 3-4M range.

If Copp really does like playing in NY- my guess is he signs a 5 or 6 year deal for 5.25-5.5M
