I personally would pick Palat because he's such an asset as a top line winger and a good 3rd liner is easier to trade for in the offseason or at the deadline. The only scenario where I could see myself preferring Paul is if we trade Sergachev for a high end young forward who we'd really want to play in the top 6 (ex: Sharangovich).

In this scenario I don't think we would be able to keep Palat. It would be 4x4.5-5 imo.

I like them both and I slighty prefer Palat but it's unrealistic to resign him if we don't move Killer.
