The trade doesn't work for either team. That being said you could buyout Kass and just let Keith come back for his final year that makes the trade offer 3rd for vanecek. Think that's a more reasonable foundation to build off of. Personally I think with having skinner in the mix next year becomes even more important other goalie is loaded with experience.

No interest in Keith. You should be able to move him to a cap bottom team for cheap. $5.5M cap, $1.5M salary, someone will take him to help reach the floor.
