I'll just ask you this:

Is that really what you would value a 70 point winger with elite underlying metrics at when the team trading him has no cap troubles at all?

Also you think he'd only take $4.5? That goes beyond the point that trade has no interest in the Devils.

he has had 1 elite season. perennial 30 point guy prior. i think it would be smart to bridge him, would he take 4.5? maybe not BUT it was fun to try and fit him under the oilers cap situation

Sure, - Which is why I put in the trade bubble if this isn’t fair value, what would be needed as more pieces

I think Bratt could be available. But it's gonna cost you something like: 2022 1st, Yamamoto, Holloway, Savoie, and probably another middle of the road piece like Lavoie or Petrov

Nothing Edmonton would look to give up.
A deal for Bratt couldn’t just be a strictly futures deal. You would have to return a top line guy or a top pairing defender, and then top futures.

You won’t land a 70 point player with elite underlyings for that though. Hell he will cost a couple million more to sign too, and won’t look at a 4.5 mil
