Description
Simon Despres is taken off LTIR if he is able to come back, but for now he goes on LTIR, as it is looking pretty 50/50 for if he ever returns or not ... so for now he goes on LTIR but if he is eventually able to return then they can take him off LTIR.

The Vatanen-Little trade is before the expansion draft, so Anaheim protects Getzlaf, Rakell, Kesler, Silferberg, Perry, Little, Cogliano, Fowler, Lindholm, Bieksa (only because of his NMC), and Gibson.

Also, i might be wrong, but if i'm correct, Stoner's injury is not career ending, but they still send him to the minors, as he has not been playing his best.

Jones and Steel probably aren't ready for the NHL yet. And it's been reported that Bieksa and the Ducks have some sort of agreement on him waving his NMC for the expansion, so they won't have to lose Manson.

As far as the Vatanen/Little trade, WPG has their own problems getting their d squared around so I doubt they are going to take on another one (nevermind the fact that they are more than set with RHD anyway).

They shouldn't be losing Manson. Bieksa will waive NMC or be bought out. The reasoning for him likely waiving his NMC is that he is getting old and slow and at this point he might not get another contract, so if he is bought out that could be the end of his career.

Oh, okay, i didn't know that about Bieksa. And WPG would just protect Vatanen, Trouba, and Byfuglien.
