Overall, I'm not a fan of this squad. You could do much better with the wingers, as a lot of good ones will be available. Nichushkin will also probably not return to North America until next year. The defense is pretty barren too; granted, there aren't many good righties that will be available, but even the lefties that you have are not the best choices. In particular, no amount of compensation would convince Vegas to take Scandella over Brodin/Dumba.

The goalies are good, though, as is the center depth. And thank you very much for taking Namestnikov and not JT Brown; far, far too many people have done that. You should move him to 2C, though, as even though Vegas will not have a legit 2C behind Shipachyov, Namestnikov is better as a fringe one than than Jarnkrok. Jarnkrok would make for a great 3C though, and Dzingel seems to have converted to winger full-time now.

I read somewhere that Vegas plans on sharing an AHL team with someone because there's no way they're going to be able to fill out an entire AHL roster. I think they planed on sharing with the Blues but i might be wrong on the specific team. And with all the money Foley has been handing out for this team I'm not sure he'd be willing to stomach creating a new affiliate and having to pay for that. I think they'll just contract out with one of the independently owned AHL teams for the foreseeable future.
