Retain more than that on Meyers and Pit says yes. Taking on meyers adds negative value to the trade, he's not an asset, you have to pay assets to give him up.

If you retained much more on him then maybe Pitt accepts. Miller is nasty but meyers tanks that trade

Canes pass. Boeser is of little to no interest. Biggie guy who doesn’t use his body, still has injury problems , QO is high, and has poor advanced numbers

Necas is twice the player Kapanen is. It's not all about points. I like both players but would prefer Necas at 4 mill and Kapanen at 2.5.

Would love to snag Jamison Rees from the Canes but it would be tough.
