I think that's high for Lehky. See him more in the $3.75m - $4.25m range. Also can't see Braun signing a 1 yr deal. He's 35 and likely looking for a bit more security. As for 2C, it'll be really interesting to see if they hand over the reigns to Newhook. He didn't play huge minutes for the Avs in the postseason

COL needs to prioritize signing Kadri and Val, IMO. Let Kuemper walk.

JVR is not the answer to any questions the Avs might have.

Zero chance they can re-sign Kadri unless he takes a significant discount. With the year he had though, he'll be looking for a 6-yr deal in the $8m - 9m range, which we can't afford with Mack's deal coming up next year. As for Kuemper, I can't see them letting him walk. Was he amazing? Hell no, but if we can lock him down for $4m - 4.5m as a result? I'm game.

Everyone wanting to get rid of Kuemper seems to not realize how much worse the other goaltending options would be. He was fantastic in the regular season and I really think a lot of his postseason struggles stemmed from the eye injury. He was pretty good in the cup final outside of a few softies.

He was also apparently still dealing with the eye injury. Avs reporter just stated he had to go to an optometrist 2-3 times a day to "re-train his eye" (https://twitter.com/VicLombardi/status/1542150571725148162)
