Description

The Hurricanes had an amazing year last season. winning the toughest division in hockey, however they didn't win a single road game in the playoffs and got elimenated by the rangers in round 2. Some might ask why I didn't bring back Trocheck and it's because of the Kotkaniemi contract. I feel that contract was signed with plans for him to play 2nd line next year. he should have an amazing breakout year with those linemates. Bring back mostly the same D core and goaltending. A healthy duo of Rannta and Freddie on an already amazing canes team will cause trouble next postseason.

Note: this is solely based on what I would do as a gm. sometimes I use real rumors to help with my offseason plans. Bit just because the canes might trade bear and necas. I'm not going to because I don't feel like thats whats best for the team.
