Dubois rumours

Description
Addressing the Dubois rumours that he may do a Tavares come 2024. Would Winnipeg trade him out to get a return from Habs now or wait until he goes UFA? Just a speculation..

As for Letang and Fleury signings… well.. I call these long shots but given the relationship they have with our GM… could it happen??? Especially if Price is out again.

Just wondering, has there ever in the history of the NHL been a trade that involved 8 assets being moved for a single player?

Why ask? I’m putting up NHL ready players to plug in gaps, but the actual trade off for the Jets are the actual draft picks which are valuable assets on this trade.

Players are only in there to give them time and gets ready leadership skills in their locker room. They need that to build up the current guys and upcoming picks.

This is a win for Win (even if some think these are cap dumps and clearly don’t see the actual value of some of these guys like Armia and Dvorak which Habs can separate from during the rebuild since they have others to play those leader roles in the team already).

Dubois is a Qc native that indicated wanting to play in Mtl, so Win have an advantage over Habs of getting more for him like a first, second and third round picks, they get Allen who’s one of the best 2nd goalie in the league that can help them now, Dvorak a great 2nd-3rd centerman and Armia able to score the n a third line. Brooks and Pezz are to fill the depth chart. Other teams would pay less since he may fly out and do a Tavares as soon as he’s UFA.
