Rofl no hes not, just like all wild fans though they were going to get a top 10 pick for fiala, who is better and has been more consistent than keller.

At his age and with the contract he has, Keller would have a chance to really take another step playing full-time on Stuzles Wing, He would totally be worth using the 7 OA pick for. His numbers have gone up basically every year and there is no reason that should change.

That said I think there could be a better trade made there, there was another ACGM where the deal was 7 OA Zaitsev, Brown, and Thompson. I would prefer that deal, I don't think there is any reason to get Kassian with Watson already on the team and Kelley likely on the 4th line again this season. Getting the 1st from Edm and the prospect would be nice but I would prefer to use brown in the Keller trade and keep Branny.
I don't think that Klinberg signs that deal would be great to get him, but they have said multiple times on Sportsnet that the Kraken are coming in with a max-term deal that could be in the 7-8 per range, so why would he pass on that?

I like the Tolvanen deal a lot if preds would take it. I would have him on the RW though with the Brady line and have Keller on LW with Stuzle and Batherson.
rf9 and Chabot4C liked this.

Fiala was not worth a top 10 pick and didn't net the wild one, keller who has been much worst will not remotely come close to getting Ari a top pick, that's just Chiarelli lvl of thinking

Great Sens will make a deal for him and his contract then that doesn't include the 7 OA. He has been improving every season and with Stuzle as his center, he is a +20 goals every year player for the rest of his contract. I'll take that for a 7.1 cap hit.
