Hard pass for oilers, Kieth most likely retiring. And oilers will put that money to goalie. mcdonagh is not worth a 1st rounder. Not since Tampa is trying to get rid of his cap. With term left. You won’t get a first for him

Absolutely no equity here for Ottawa. They take a 5mil cap hit on a bum defender and trade a very valuable forward at a great price with retention, and all they get is moving from a 2nd to the end of the 1st. Not remotely good for Ottawa
