1. Shane Wright (Montreal Canadiens) (Details: Best player in the draft. Safest pick in the draft. A future #1 center in the league. Montreal takes Shane Wright.).
2. Juraj Slafkovsky (New Jersey Devils) (Details: Slafkovsky's rise from outside the top 10 to challenging Wright for 1st overall is unbelievable. Whoever is left at pick 2 between Wright and Slafkovsky is who NJ takes and that most likely be Slafkovsky.).
3. Logan Cooley (Arizona Coyotes) (Details: I think everyone can agree Cooley is easily the 3rd best prospect of this draft. Arizona doesn't over think this pick and grabs him.).
4. Simon Nemec (Seattle Kraken) (Details: This could be the part of the draft where things get interesting. The big 3 have been drafted and now we go down a tier of players. I think Seattle drafts Nemec to go along with their future #1 center in Beniers. Great start to a franchise with a potential #1 center and defenseman.).
5. Cutter Gauthier (Philadelphia Flyers) (Details: My first mock draft I had Philly taking Jiricek. Everything I've read about Cutter is, he could go top 5 no problem. I wouldn't be surprised if Gauthier is the guy Philly takes at 5.).
6. David Jiricek (Columbus Blue Jackets from Chicago Blackhawks) (Details: If David Jiricek is available at pick 6, CBJ takes him no problem. After grabbing Johnson and SIllinger in the top 15 last draft and Jiricek being on the board still, I think they draft him.).
7. Matthew Savoie (Ottawa Senators) (Details: Ottawa drafts BPA. There's no defensemen I see that are top 10 worthy compared to these forwards. Matthew Savoie, welcome to Ottawa.).
8. Joakim Kemell (Detroit Red Wings) (Details: Yzerman doesn't reveal his plans at all. He could go for any player at this position. I feel he goes with Kemell who probably has the best shot in this draft class.).
9. Jonathan Lekkerimäki (Buffalo Sabres) (Details: Everything I've read and seen on this kid is he is just oozing with skill. Another skilled forward in Buffalo to go with Cozens and Krebs is not a bad idea at all.).
10. Frank Nazar (Anaheim Ducks) (Details: I feel Nazar and the Ducks are a perfect match. A future winger for one of Zegras or MacTavish.).
