A very interesting scenario, but I think 6+12 might be a bit light. Reason being, that the top four or five are projected to be almost a lock for upper-end deployment at the NHL-level and look to be a solid notch above the next grouping.

Personally, I'd love to see it and don't think it's that far off.

I was told the Devils were the only team to fly to personally see Mateychuk. They must like him...which makes me believe this or a different trade down deal is possible.
