It's not exactly pretty, but this lineup does address some issues. It'd be nice to have Geno back, but it's not looking too promising. Trocheck doesn't have the same offensive punch, but he is an ideal #2C. It is still possible (not probable) that they could move Zucker for a little more cap space, but with only one year left on his contract, if he can be healthy he can be very useful in this lineup. Either Dumo or Petts will have to go, I'd prefer Dumo based on age and recent injuries. Letang has to be signed, no other option. The Pens need a little punch in their game, so bringing back Gudbranson is not a bad idea if he is used properly at a decent cap hit. Not a lot of other options for that extra beef on the back end. This lineup also gives the Pens an option to give the young guys a chance to make the team from camp. Yes I didn't sign Kappy, or trade him. I'm guessing either he'll get signed or ERod and Heinen will get signed. I went with the two players here, assuming that Kappy would be traded for futures somewhere.
