Not gonna happen with Hextall. Even prying away PIT's 1st is a long shot. He's guarding that 1st.

As he should. Might be the only organization that has a worse prospect pool than VAN. But yea, the deal proposed in this ACGM is NOT enough for JT

Oh its a different situation completely. As long as Crosby/Malkin/Letang were there, they needed to try to build a new cup contender every year. Also, if VAN can win back-to-back cups then I will take a depleted prospect pool. I think I also heard that the main reason Rutherford left was because of conflicting perspectives with the owners about what to do with Crosby
