Trades
1.
VAN
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
  2. Liljegren, Timothy
  3. 2023 1st round pick (TOR)
TOR
  1. Miller, J.T. ($2,600,000 retained)
Additional Details:
This trade is if Toronto goes all in. The value is based off what Fiala got but, I added Kerfoot in because I think Miller has slightly more value because he is a center.
2.
VAN
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (OTT)
OTT
  1. Myers, Tyler ($2,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
The Sens were rumored to have interest in Myers. Considering Hamonic got a 3rd Myers should be worth a 2nd if Van retain.
3.
PIT
  1. Garland, Conor
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Marino is rumored to be moved. It doesn't sound like Pens management is too impressed with Kapanen. Garlund fits the Burke player archetype and is signed to a pretty good long term deal.
4.
VAN
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (ANA)
ANA
  1. Dermott, Travis
Additional Details:
Dermott is pushed out on the LD sport with Rathbone coming in. Anywhere for a 3rd.

Apples to oranges comparing Hamonic to Myers. Dorion came out and said they wouldve done a 4th but he didnt have one to give so he sent a 3rd for some reason. In no world does Myers net a 2nd, not to mention Ottawa is looking to get better and I doubt Myers helps accomplish that.

Myers isn't a bad D-man. At 4 million its good value.

Fiala was also an RFA (team control) Miller is a UFA, Fiala is younger, Miller has the open market in a year. Vancouver has been overvaluing Miller , yes he had 1 99 point season, ever other season he's 55-65 points that's what he is , he's a 55-65 point winger/center who will make any teams top 6 stronger but with no term and his decline years squarely in view his comparable trade value is patches

How do you figure miller is a 55-65 point guy when he’s been a ppg player the last 3 years. You wanna compare him to pacioretty? A guy who’s never been a ppg player for even 1 full season? Seems like you have some issue with miller, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s an elite 1st line forward that’s easily the best player available around the league right now.

Not bad but certainly not good and doesnt hold a candle to the rumoured other targets... Marino, Chychrun Weegar are all in a different league than Myers and wouldnt cost considerably more than that 2nd that you want Ottawa to send. Also not convinced that Myers is a better option that the young guys on the cusp like JBD or Thomson.
