Who would Carolina have drafted at #27 if they never offersheeted Kotkaniemi?

I would've drafted either Kulich or Lambert at that spot since we're really loaded all around the prospect pool, so we just take the best player on our board. Kulich is a great safe pick at 27 since he was available and he is a quite solid and smart two-way center. Lambert is a great pick as well because he was probably the best skater in this draft and he is super quick. I had him ranked 12th overall, but he does seem to be a risky pick due to his lack of production which I understand. Still great offensive tools from Lambert though. I also wouldn't have hated Gleb at this spot, but we got him at 60 anyways so who cares.

Still glad we at least got a solid player in Kotkaniemi out of this.
