Miller is a 100 point player. Leafs fans said the same stuff about nick Robertson most recently and they said the same thing about other players who didn’t pan out. What makes this different. Your giving away a prospect for a guy who can put up 100 points and has proven it.

Niemela will never win a Noris. Knies if everything pans out will be top 6.

And if everything had panned out for Jeremy bracco he would have been a 100 point player according to leafs fans in 2019 and 2020. 2021 was the year nick Robertson got severely overrated. 2022 is now knies. You guys overrate TF out of ur prospects and odds are knies is a solid NHL contributor. To say you wont want JT miller on your team is moronic because you want to keep knies. This is fair value for miller. He is a 100 point player. Giving up two decent prospects and a first and a second for miller is what makes sense. Knies is just the newest iteration of the overrated leaf prospect who will be the future of the franchise. Why don’t you guys change. U have always overvalued your prospects when really the prospect pool isn’t that deep. Amirov is the best prospect in the system and yet you complain about giving up knies? 90% of teams would gladly give up their 2nd best forward prospect for a guy like miller, especially if the pool isn’t deep like the leafs pool. I can count on one hand the amount of teams who wouldn’t give up their second best forward prospect for a guy like miller. Please just stop talking.

Two years ago leafs fans wouldn’t give up bracco for a rental that could help them in a playoff run. Last year it was Robertson. Now it is knies. You aren’t even giving up ur best prospect in Amirov. Just stop. Everybody knows you overrate your prospects and we disregard what you say for delusion.

Again bracco and Robertson were possible top 6 forwards. All you gotta realize is that leafs fans like you are why you guys have a poor reputation. Dude it’s not even my post, it was made by a leafs fan. 1 year of miller is worth it if you win something. Like Steve dangles trade trees, the trump card is if you win a cup with the assets acquired. This trade helps out the leafs chances of doing so heavily. It wouldn’t make sense for a team to trade for a rental if they aren’t competitive. I guess u think the leafs aren’t competitive enough to win a cup. Tbh as I said from an outsider who isn’t a fan of either team, this is fair based on value.
