Not a chance Chicago takes on a 30 year old Coyle for 4 years at $5.2 for a late 2nd let alone gives up an asset back

Hope you know the hawks are going to be a cap dump team for the next few years.

ummmm... this is exactly what Chicago's going to be doing for the net few years. still need to reach the cap floor and ice a team. perhaps the return isn't Lafferty and is a 6th round pick instead but Coyle is the prime candidate for Chicago to take. too bad for the Bruins that CHI is likely on Coyle's 8 team no trade list.

Yes, Chicago is going to take on cap dumps, but like other teams, they are going
1) Get good assets back from the team dumping cap
2) Look for players they can retain on and flip for additional assets
3) They can always sign free agents to short term contracts to reach the cap floor...that's not a problem
4) Lafferty is worth a lot more then a 6th. At the deadline he's worth a late 2nd all day long which is why I said there's not a chance they do this trade you have proposed
