Our 2023 1st rounder is untouchable, it's possibly a lottery pick

Similar roster just swapping Meier and gaudreau I don’t see them missing playoffs.

They won their division. I’m not saying they win the cup but I’d say they’re a playoff team. If winning was a prerequisite to not rebuilding leafs would trade all their stars every five years lol

well i get what your saying, but the leafs are different, they have a franchise player so why would they rebuild. The pacific wont be weak like this for to long, its best to rebuild now rather then be mediocre for the next 4 years and then rebuild.

If flames could find a #1 c they’d be in a good spot

who though? Kadri? and not even that, what if Tkachuk wants to get moved? then you definitely have to rebuild, it will be interesting to see what they do

I don't think they have to rebuild if they trade Tkachuk. They could get assets to help them now and add to a franchise goalie, a core 4 D that are on great contracts, and even some good value forwards. It comes down to how well they can build a team to succeed.

Because they lost Gaudreau you think they go from winning the division to last in the league!?!? Cmon man. It's painfully clear JG doesn't care about winning, and if you ask me they are better witnout a guy like that in the locker room. Swap him for kadri who actually has an extremely high compete level and they might even be better off...

Only reason I wouldn’t touch kadri is he’s a career number 2 looking for number 1 money
