Description

If any Isles fans think Lou is actually going to do something, you’re kidding yourselves. His “big move” of the offseason already happened with his trade for Romanov. It’s gonna be all radio silence from Lou until September when he re-signs Chara and does some press conference where he says he’s “confident in this group” or some other groveling bs. Whatever, guess we just have to wait for the TDL for Lou to actually address the teams lack of goal-scoring which has existed since Tavares left and hasn’t even been close to fixed.

Sadly you're probably correct with this. One slight alternate approach I'd like would be signing Dobson to more of a bridge deal at $4m per (maybe 3 years) and having some room to bring in a modest addition like Milano. Not a total game changer but brings in some speed/energy and upside. Would push the rest of the forward group a bit (looking at you Josh Bailey) and provide some nice depth in the event Wahlstrom/Bellows don't deliver the goods or injuries hit.
